This painting depicts the great hero and leader Saladin who defeated and drove off the crusaders. He espoused great humanitarian values through his efforts in giving religious freedom and equality in Jerusalem and in his areas of jurisdiction. He is a true hero who served his people and Allah. He is depicted here in Petra which used to be part of Syria in his time to show the high level of engineering and craftsmanship of the Nabataean arabs who built this oasis city.

This painting depicts the moment when the angel Jibrael (Gabriel) gives theBlack Stone to Ibrahim. Here in Mecca is the site where the first house worship ofAllah was built by Adam and was the destroyed by the great flood after. Ibrahimfollowed the instructions of Allah to rebuild the Kaaba and with the help of hisson Ismail they finished it. This momentous event begins the gradualtransformation of Mecca to become what it is now- the center of Islamic devotion ‍

This painting depicts the time when Abraha, the king of Yemen tried to destroythe Kaaba in Mecca in 570 AD, the year Prophet Muhammed was born. Uponarriving at the border of Mecca the elephants refused to enter the holy city andfrom the sea a swarm of small birds holding stones suddenly swoops in anddecimates the whole army with the stones that had the power to melt their flesh.This miraculous event shows the almighty will of Allah in protecting the Kaaba.
